OLDS ELEVATORS AND DSH SYSTEMS....
NEW POSSIBILITIES
DSH Systems Ltd, manufactures easily installable innovative dust suppression hoppers. Our products work ingeniously
to suppress the dust generated when transferring bulk quantities of dry granular products such as fertiliser, sand, gravel, wheat, barley
or sugar. Our units are the perfect solution for industrial dust control and collection.

Olds Elevator

Like DSH Systems technology, the basic operating principle of the Olds Elevator is very simple, however it is a whole new science opening up many new possibilities.  Unlike other screw conveyors, the patented Olds Elevator Technology reverses conventional screw conveyor design by employing a static screw inside a rotating casing.  Having only one moving part in contact with the material transported, fragile and difficult to handle materials are conveyed gently with negligible damage.

The new Olds Elevator provides inherent protection against dust explosions.  This emerging technology has superior levels of safety and efficiency because it operates in a flooded mode, filled with the material being conveyed, so there is insufficient oxygen in the system to support combustion.

The Olds Elevator and DSH Systems dust suppression technologies are both AWARD WINNING innovations, being hailed as a significant breakthrough in Dust Explosion Prevention Technology by respected bulk materials handling industry experts.  Associate Professor Peter Wypych, Centre for Bulk Solids and Particulate Technologies, University of Woollongong, endorsed the Olds Elevator and DSH Systems technologies at the Dust Explosions 2007 Conference held in Australia.
